You can always put seating on the diagonal. Put sliders under them and experiment.

I love to put a lot of color in my oversized wall art. That shows my personality and provides a conversation starter for guests.

The great thing about a long room is that you can create two areas. One main one to watch tv and receive guests, and the other for gaming, reading, music, etc.

A seating/conversation area is 12x12, so with a 25’ long room, you have to default to 2 seating areas. It’s logical to have a main area in front of the fireplace.

Although I am not a huge fan of the TV over the FP, I don't see a good option for moving the TV.

With long narrow spaces I often like the look of a 4 seat sofa with a chaise and a barrel chair or a slimline recliner like the ones made by ekornes/stressless. depending on the style of the sofa.

You will need to play with things to see which side you like for the chaise if you choose this option or get one that has the ottoman piece separate that can be switched from one side to the other.

There are some of the designers that hate a sofa with a chaise - my sister has one and her two daughters would fight over who got the chaise.

Other than watching TV what types of activities do you see happening in the room? For me a sewing desk or computer desk and a table where I could cut fabric, build a puzzle or play board/card games would be the answers, so that is what I placed in the room, but the choices should fit your life, not mine.
