Pump House Aesthetic Re-Design

We purchased this property last year and are trying to update the exterior of the pool pump house (without breaking the bank). Just looking for advice/ideas on how to go about updating this to be more visually appealing. It is cinder block with a metal roof. The previous owners painted the front wall in apoxy pool paint. There is a waterfall that flows over this and into the pool (turned off in photo).

1) I would love to cover at least this front face with stone veneer or similar type product (Genstone? Or similar product recommendations?). However, I am unsure if stone veneer would adhere to the apoxy paint. If it won't, can we cover with cement board and then adhere?

2) I'd also like to switch out the lattice to something else???. It needs to remain open air because of the chemicals stored there.

The sides are difficult because of the water wheel and the hosing/piping so I am ok with leaving them alone for now. I also realize we need to repaint/metal cover the upper overhang where the waterfall originates.

I am completely open to other ideas for updating that won't cost a fortune!
