What does ”worth it” mean to you? You either like the look of a single material or you don’t. You’ve seen images of taj counters with tile backsplash, and taj counters with taj backsplash. Choose whatever you like best and enjoy it in the best of health.

I think only you can answer if it is worth spending the money on that look, because in the end, it is merely an aesthetic decision. If you post your other finishes and the size of your room you will certainly get feedback on other splashes that could work in your space and then you can decide if it is worth the money too you or not.

Another way I look at potential extra expenses is to see what percentage of the overall kitchen budget this extra expense would be. Sometimes it helps me put things into context and make a decision.
