Daily rains have not actually damaged flowers at key times, as they came later.
Heavenly StarFire, especially large this year.

Spacecoast Red Dazzler

Sputnik, tall and big

Princess Sonja, which I got right after Nan mentioned it, but before she noted what a slow grower.

Mayan Warrior. A glowing gold tinted orange, striking in the garden. First year, and now rather short.

Early Shirley. Always a welcome early. Deer got some scapes when I had just put up the fence and not reinforced it, so I will have to settle for less.

All American Plum. A 5-inch flower, its color is refreshing.

Katherine Caldwell. Hasn't been a fast multiplier.

All American Chief.

Cherry Grove Beach. I like the color.

Beach Party Pedicure is supposed to have consistent patterns, unlike parent Get Jiggy.

Buckleberry Ferry. I especially like this color combo. (not the variegated beech)

Heavenly Dark Matter has been a focal point with its huge flowers.

Spacecoast Red Eyed Monster has looked good this year.

Spacecoast Red Dazzler looks good. Several here have the look I am fondest of, like Sputnik, Steve's Magic and Impressionistic Eye. I was planning to get rid of Early Shirley, not that early, not many buds, and just not all that interesting. Has only added a fan since I got it 5 or 6 yr ago. Moved it to a bed with poorer soil and less attention. Was among the earlier bloomers this year. Color is suddenly richer, scapes have nice branching, been blooming 3wk and still buds to go. Who knew? Guess I will wait til next year to see if it was a fluke.

Mantis, Princess Sonja was slow to get established, but she finally looks like she will grow for us. She spent her first two years as a single fan, but has finally added fans (I didn't count, but she is a respectable small clump). How does Spacecoast Red Dazzler perform for you. We have had it for a couple of years and its always short and low budded.

Mayan Warrior and Bucklebury Ferry are looking good. Mayan Warrior will always be on the short side, but Bucklebury Ferry will get a respectable height.

So now they are all out. That first one is quite pretty, I like it, but is it Heavenly Dragon Fire, Mantis? That is supposed to be orange. I like Steven's Magic. Cherry Grove Beach is a very pretty color. Sputnik is my favorite today.

Liking the reds today. Spacecoast Red Dazzler is intense as is All American Chief. Sputnik does indeed look tall. I also like Heroes on Horseback. Are these your new ones in the pots? You are getting nice blooms on them.

Nearly all those pictured are in the ground. Some varieties, such as Cherry Grove Beach, I have in both pots and ground. Kay, you are right, it is Heavenly StarFire. Red Dazzler is taller this year and better budded, but does indeed leave something to be desired.

Cherry Grove Beech looks like it could be a cousin to Kiss You In The Morning. Oh wait, ones a Tanner and the other is a Douglas. They may indeed be cousins.........What a lovely rich purple American Plum is for you. Luscious.......Maryl

Shouldn't Elizabeth Caldwell be Katherine Caldwell? The nice clump of Heavenly Dark Matter is my favorite of these. Nan's two intros look good.
