I prefer the lighter shade as it will be more complementary to the flooring. Is there a dresser, other furniture or decor that needs to be considered?

I prefer the mid-tone.

I dont have a dresser yet and i need it to blend. hate matching sets.

Can you take a picture with the two samples leaning against your current nightstand at floor level?

It looks to me like the lighter one isn't the right undertone against the flooring, seems too orange, but I could be wrong - it could be the lighting or angle of the lighting.

I prefer the darker next to the headboard, again, the lighter feels too orange.

Both are nice so maybe lay samples on your floor and see which one feels better. Hard to judge from the pictures.

I agree that the loghter is too yellowy orangey.
