Blooming on Friday

The temperatures are coming up. Tomorrow will be a hot one. Still, we are thankful for the cooler weather we have had in the first part of June compared to last year's temperatures.

Elaan of Troyius had her first flower of the seaon.

Gryphon Hankow Legacy is one of my favorite Gryphons.

Heavenly Twilight zone is a small flower.

Hexenbeast is another small flower (4 inches), but this one is a tetraploid with teeth.

We have grown Isla Morada for several years, but it never does well because it is southern bred. This is the prettiest one we have ever seen. It's pollen went on all the red/white vigorous hardy ones today.

Possum Que Shane is another small one, but this one is on a vigorous plant with a tall scape.

She's Got the Look was beautiful today. The bloom at the top is a fused bloom.

We finally got a photo of Toe the Line that shows why we registered it. I have seen white on sepal and petal edges, but never this wide.

I know many of you don't like the striped ones, but we love playing around with them. This is Toothy Perfection X Panning for Gold.

We love the color on this seedling. It is Velvet Eyes X Santa's Little Helper. We haven't measured it yet, but I think it is a small flower.

I like the looks of Weasil Teeth X Red Eyed Queen.

I left a named variety out. This is Aunt Sadie--a small flowered spider from Steve Williams.

Lots of pretties today, Nancy. My favorites are Probably Toe The Line and Morada but I like the look of the ones with Edges not eyes too, so I like She's Got The Look, and I do like the striped ones. I like a lot of variety even though large colorful one make up most of my garden.

I had Isla Morada twice and it did not survive. But your photo shows why I replaced it the first time! Great picture on She’s Got the Look. Toe the Line is quite interesting. The Velvet Eyes seedling looks indeed so velvety!

Elaan of Troyius is really showing off this season! Beautiful edge! Gryphon Hankow has beautiful colors and nice form. Isla Morada is so pretty! I hope you get some hardier babies from it.
