Grout Help Please!

Hello, I need to quickly choose a grout color for a new bathroom tile floor. It’s a small windowless bathroom. Tile will be ColorBlox 2.0 in color Celestial Horizon (which is more muted than it appears in their website but a bit less muted than it appears in my photos). Color is essentially a seafoam green. I want the bathroom to have a light/bright feel but have no idea how to emphasize the color of the tile and not the grout or the grid that the grout will create. Thank you for suggestions!

Select a mid-tone color so the grout lines don't overpower the tile.

    Good luck

I don't like any of them really. Did the manufacturer have any recommendations? Your going to draw attention to the grout no matter what with that tiile since there is no real matching grout. If I HAD to chose one, probably take the lower right darker green but I would also NEVER select from the samples. Have your tile setter make samples.

We used the Mapei Silver on a very similarly colored backsplash tile.

I aways like grout thta comes close to matching the tile it keeps it looking simple which IMO is always better in a tiny space like a bathroom with so many items needed . If the silver matche the gray in the other tile it might work if you aslo use it for the other tile

All of those are too light with that tile. MAPEI Charcoal or possibly Deep Ocean. But it's hard to go wrong with Charcoal.

For your situation I’d suggest finding a grout that matches the floor tile (a light silver) and then just use the same on the color blox so you have uniformity. Dark charcoal on that tile will be all wrong.

None of the blue greens go with the tile. Stick with something in the white to grey neutral range, the unnamed white at the bottom of first photo or silver or stairway grey in other photos. White will have more contrast but it is easy to touch up with grout pens if it gets stained or damaged.

None of these really work well. The dark colors clash, the light colors are going to give you a grid. If i had to pic from these I'd do rain because it is at least a muted tone of grid pattern.

Grout 360 is on Etsy + has it's own website. They can create basically any color grout that you want. They have different types of grout that can be made to match the color you need.

They have many different colors that are offered + they are able to custom match the color you need.

    Etsy store:

    Website :

Here they grout was made to match the Benjamin Moore paint color Steel Blue:

They have many SW and BM more paints that they've custom matched in epoxy/sanded/unsanded grout.

Just thought I'd let you know that you can have an exact match if you want. They may have one that matches out of there standard colors - or you can select a paint color from SW or BM that matches your tile.

I am using Bedrosian Cloe Baby Blue (Equipe Artisan Aqua) in one of my bathroom renovation - and I haven't been ablet to find a grout that I like with it. It is a V4 variation - so, many different hues of aqua (baby blue isn't the correct name for the tile). My neighbor suggested that I look at Grout 360 in order to have a color made that works with the different variations of color.

    Here is my tile:

Thank you all so much for your comments. You have been very helpful. My entire projecthas been delayed bc they missed our tile order and now I am traveling. A friend gave us their extra Silver Grout so I think we will use it, as it seems the best of the imperfect options we have. Cathi thank you for including the photo of your similar color scheme. I like the suggestion of ordering color matched grout but not sure if I’ll do that instead . Thanks again everyone and sorry I didn’t respond sooner.

IMO most times a matching grout keeps things simple I see no reason the accent grout lines .
