IMO some nice roman shades would be great in a color from the bedding instead of the blinds you have now maybe even a print in the colors you have on the bed. Please no area rug that sits 1/2 under the bed maybe one like a large cowhide and some small fluffy ones on eithe side of the bed and not anytihing in front of the chair

I'd replace your blinds with a top down bottom up bamboo blind for privacy and light control.
