We’re building. EVERYTHING is more expensive than anticipated. It’s time to pick cabinet hardware, and I can save a few K going with the dupes from China. They’re zinc, not brass. but standard sizes so could swap out later when my wallet has recovered a bit if the finish wears weird. I’ve ordered samples to check the fit and finish.

I’ve ordered dupes for a fair number of the decorative lights, with the plan to swap later if we decide to. They’re fine, pretty much as expected.

Any downsides y’all see? does anyone have any experience with these? It’s a very nice custom home, but not top of the line.
