I think you might need something pretty strong to stand up to that tile combination. What were some of your more intense picks? Personally I would be tempted to do something that adds other colors, like Thibaut Pagoda Trees, as an example:

Since these are all spoon flour, the scale can be smaller of the pattern and I can change the colors

I feel like a number of the Spoonflower papers are kind of novelty-kitschy and not necessarily what someone would have chosen 60 years ago when they just wanted to pick something that worked well with the tile.

It's still valid choice but I am not sure I would pick this for a house that is otherwise furnished and decorated in regular furniture and fabrics particularly if it is the main hall bath.

My house is beautifully decorated, but it's very casual with a lot of folk art and quirky features. I'm not a floral traditional kind of person at all. It's mid-century modern and I like the fun that the spoon flower paper brings!

The bathroom is swell. I see full on vintage poodles with the tile
