You can fix it. Without seeing the part, I would consider something like:

- Mix up some epoxy, JB Weld or similar

- Put epoxy in the stripped out screw holes in the plastic handle, don’t fill the holes, just enough to fill in for the missing screw hole threads - maybe about 1/3 full

- Place the handle on the pot, insert screws, if there is any thread left then gently turn the screws in, if no thread left at all then push the screws in

- Use a clamp or a weight to hold the handle and screws firmly to the pot, if needed

- When the epoxy cures, tighten the screws more if needed, they will be hard to turn as they’ve essentially been glued into the handle, but with enough force you should be able to turn them
