New Oil Rubbed Bronze Knobs Coloring

My new ORB knobs appear a bit to bronze and shiny. Has anyone had this issue, and if so, did you try and darken them? I thought of spraying them with clear matte Krylon paint to dull the appearance. They are for my Benjamin Moore White Dove Cabinets. The knobs in the store display were so beautiful. I know they will turn darker over time but would like an immediate fix. Thanks!

Not all ORB is the same.

Also the knobs in the store display are probably older and from a different manufacturing batch, so your knobs may never look like that.

I would not spray stuff on brand new knobs.

Can you return them and get something you actually like?

I agree with Chispa. Return them, and get what you want. You dont want spray paint on brand new knobs, they will never look right.
