Hall/Entrance Ceiling Lighting?

I want to change my hallway chandeliers. Its a very long & wide hallway which I'm working on styling but struggling but back to lighting… I would like to do black ceiling fixtures but as you can see it’s open to my kitchen and family room with a brushed nickel fixture over the table. Could I do black in hallway or should I stick with brushed nickel?
