This season I am really happy with my Praying Hands. It is three times the size it was last season. Another winner here is Dancing Queen. It got rescued from tree root competition and is huge now. Show us your winners!

Overall gardens are joy. Many plants just amazing.

It is my third and looks to be successful try with Jade Cascade

Many hostas are coming into their own and are stopping sulking from the move.

LS Swan Pon is on a rare side to find, am glad I did not loose it.

My streakers are doing well , initial blooms did not do much due to hear and rain but now am getting blooms and cross pollinating.

My Praying Hands are limping alone but alive. After hearing how many losses people had over past winter it is a big win that I only lost several potted hostas.

This is Jade Cascade from Rob James garden. It is a beauty. One day ...

And my hybridizing efforts seem to be consistent.

Sherry..my Praying Hands is so small..it's almost invisible 😝..I moved it to the best location I could find and it hasn't helped as much as I hoped..

Empress Wu makes me happy..I moved it and it's making great progress..a picture this morning..

I'm over the moon with my 'Empress Wu', it's ginormous this year: 40 x 70. It's been in this location for probably 10 years, was divided about 4 years ago but most importantly it is finally getting the water it requires. Its location is in the former dripline of a Western Red Cedar we removed early '23 and with its size it likely used around 10 gallons of water each and every day. All the perennials around it are all showing a substantial change in size, there's a Monarda that's over 7ft and it's only in a sunken 3-gallon nursery pot!

I am going to go with Sagae, after ten years (a couple in a pot) it finally came into its own. I have a few that are doing quite well this year but more that are suffering from tree root invasion,

old_dirt..I love upright? vase shaped? hostas..is there a proper term?..I don't know..and especially if the leaves have wavy edges? rippled edges?..maybe multiple descriptions are correct..

Some really great hosta here! I envy Pieter and Ann with those nice Wu hosta……lost mine two years ago😢 My original Sagae always looks good, I added two more cause hubbie liked it.
