Boundless Beauty has really been a star in the garden over the last couple of weeks. I do notice what I see in person (no sunglasses on)the bloom is much whiter than when I upload the photos. Maybe my eyes need an adjustment. I'm sure Debra can comment on the color since she is the person I got this from a couple of years ago.

Garden is still bursting with blooms and Rouen Cathedral will most likely open in the next day or two if the deer don't get it first.

Boundless Beauty with Maui Sunrise. this morning

and the crape myrtle in the garden bed is blooming. It took a hit from our winter being much colder and snowy and I had to do a lot of trimming of dead limbs.

That is it for me as I have to get back outside and get more cleanup done before the heat/humidity hits again. A good amount of rain yesterday so perfect for tackling the weeds. Have a great day.

I especially love the picture with Maui sunrise and the Black /eyed Susan type bloom with Boundless Beauty. It is very pretty It is hard to imagine Crepe Myrtles that lose limbs. Here they grow where you don't want them but I do love them...Mine is purple but over--crowed by the fig tree .

I love the garden shots! Just so colorful! The crepe myrtle is pretty. It also looks to be planted far enough from your house foundation not to cause any harm!! I had to have one cut down a few years ago because it was too close to the house and roots had caused some damage to my house foundation! The foundation company told me it was the most common problem they faced-trees too close to the house. Totally my fault as it was ”Natchez” which gets very very tall!!

Boundless Beauty sure has shaped up for you! I especially like the photo with it, Maui Sunrise, and the black-eyed Susans. It was always a light ivory for me, often bleached out quite white from extended periods of temps high in the 90s. The crepe myrtle is so pretty! I had a couple in Nashville, but didn't think they would thrive this far north.

Your gardens are so neatly arranged and tended. Yes, the weeds do pull more easily, even if there are more of them and they are growing by leaps and bounds. B Beauty is much whiter here than in your pic. It looks to me as though the picture was taken in shade, which will produce that off-white shade. BB was looking good here today also.

I have 5 crape myrtles as they are such versatile shrubs- to- trees. Winters of 21,22,23 were hard on everyone. In '23 our tall Crape Myrtles (2 at 10 feet) were cut down to about a foot above ground. Had to have tree people out here to get rid of the dead wood. We were lucky though as many actually lost them to the roots. That's a big lose for an established landscape. Ours have grown back and now are around 7 feet tall. They are such a good garden plant for landscaping and the picture of yours is wonderful..........Maryl

I saw Boundless early this morning today under overcast skies, and it looked like yours--as did some other near whites. But it quickly whitens up as the morning progresses.

I bought that crape myrtle in the photo when we moved here 4 years ago.
