A cloudy cool day here!

The clouds made for nice photos today and the high today was 75! I must be in Wonderland.

How High The Moon started this week with 6” blooms on tall scapes. It is pure white. It has three scapes blooming now and surprise, surprise, I have three instant rebloom scapes coming!

Red Suspenders is finishing, it has had 8” blooms consistently.

Sunny Intervals started about a week ago, blooms here are 8”.

Reindeer Antlers with nice blooms today. It needed some rain for blooms to be nice. 2 1/2” of rain a few days ago sure helped.

More saturated color on Undercurrent today, it is finishing.

Finally some good sized blooms on Dances With Giraffes. It has suffered with the drought .

When My Sweetheart Returns finally managed a few nice blooms.

Siloam Double Delight getting started this week.

Rain certainly makes a difference!! How High the Moon is lovely. Undercurrent is a pretty bloom with that color!

When My Sweetheart Returns is just that - a sweetheart. I see it's an Apps daylily. He's done some very good daylilies (Lisa Apps Sybrandt comes readily to mind). How's this grow for you......... Undercurrent is looking good. I see it's an evergreen. Any winter problems?..........Maryl

Undercurrent has been a great daylily for me. It grows close to the foundation of my home…. it got moved last fall out of the shade of a huge clematis and didnt skip a beat. It isnt evergreen here. it rebloomed for me several years ago.

When My Sweetheart Returns needs shade, the blooms melt easily in strong sun. It isnt vigorous here but has earned its place.

Reindeer Antlers has done well here although the drought took its toll this season. It grows in all day sun here, blooms dont fade or melt. The good rain this past week made a world of difference in the blooms.

It is a cooler day here too [80's], with rain off and on. The first 5 daylilies are very pretty!!

I can only wish. (% here with high humidity. I like Sunny Intervals, Sherry and also When My Sweetheart Returns. Very pretty.
