What is your definition of update? Gut? Are you speaking of the wall to the gas chamber/tub? A floor plan will help if gutting, and probably need to gut if this is the wall you want to remove. Everyone's definition of "update" is different.

I don't understand what you want to do exactly. you say you want to eliminate the door wall, which one is that? and you show a remodel of the wall behind your vanity. Are you planning any changes to the vanity? the wall behind? want a new mirror(s)?
