Any reason for the red paint? Do you have any colour preference? How many people will be using this space? For furniture layout ideas you need to provide a floor plan showing all dimensions, doors, and windows.

In the meantime, here are basic suggestions for the kitchen area. It looks like cabinets were removed above the counter near the window, you can replace with shelves. You need to install a backsplash the full length of the counter. Install a roman shade on the window and make a cover for the radiator. I'm not sure you have sufficient lighting, you can install a tracklight.
