Bosch Benchmark condensation problem

I have a brand new Bosch Benchmark french door built in refrigerator that is getting a lot of condensation on the mullion area between the two doors, enough that it drips on the floor when I open it. I have hardwood, so I had to put a rug there.

The heater is on according to the settings. The kitchen is 70F and the humidity is about 58%. There is air conditioning running.

The guy at the store told me to give it another week and let them know if it’s still happening. He said they were getting a lot of calls about condensation due to the heat and humidity we’re having. I’m in CT.

If the outdoor humidity lets up, and it stops happening, that won’t tell me if there is anything wrong with the refrigerator. It’s supposed to work when it IS humid. And I don’t think 58% is excessive, unless I’m mistaken. I plan on getting back to him tomorrow, but I wanted to check to see if I’m off base or on the right track. It’s only a few months old and we took an extended warranty as well, but I don’t want to let this wait and get away from me.

Sounds ridiculous that outdoor humidity would have anything to do with this if it's not humid indoors. And even if it is humid indoors that shouldn't happen. I've had it plenty humid inside my house when I choose not to run the AC and none of my refrigerators - FD and others - have ever done this.

I'm curious what is the outdoor temperature vs. your 70°F indoors. 58% humidity refers to your indoors? How frequently is your air conditioning cycling on/off? Perhaps it's oversized and thus not properly controlling the indoor humidity.

Outdoor temps have been in the mid 80s to mid 90s for a few weeks. There were a few days in the high 90s. The temp of 70F and humidity of 58% are in the kitchen. Humidity in the adjacent living room is the same, so unless the AC should lower it more than that, it’s working properly. We have hygrometers in several rooms along with stand-alone thermometers.

Our AC consists of two heat pumps and 6 mini splits, as well as a ducted air handler, so most rooms have their own units.

I doubt it is oversized, the systems are less than 3 years old and should be appropriately sized AFAIK.
