I’m repainting 2 kids bedrooms. We have a traditional house with beautiful dark wood doors (?cherry ? Walnut). The rooms have crown molding and a chair rail. I would like some sort of shade of white (eggshell) for the walls and something that will contrast for the trim (semigloss). I was originally thinking white dove for walls with chantilly lace for the trim but a salesperson the paint store expressed concern that they would look too similar in certain lights and that the trim would just look like a mistake that was close but not exactly the same as the walls as opposed to picking something with a little more contrast. Is this combo a mistake? Other suggestions? Help!
