    Why do you ask?

If everyone says they are too low, will you replace the doors, because that's really your only option.

From your picture, I would say they are a little low for the single knob. But my uppers have 4" handles, with the center of the lower hole at 1 1/4" from the bottom edge of the door.

Step away from the cabinets, get some rest, look again tomorrow. It’ll be fine.

They look a smidge low. BUT, you are at the stage of nearing the finish line where it is easy to focus on small details because the entire kitchen is not yet complete. Once this all comes together, the knobs will no longer feel so front and center in your mind, your eye will be focused on other things, and it won't feel like a problem.

    The wood is really beautiful.

I think low is good. Gives the knobs more presence, as the color is so close to your cabinet color. Looks intentional. If they were higher, they would fade more into the cabinetry.

The wood is beautiful and great choice on the brass. Looks rich.

I agree with PPF nothing to be done now and I do not find them bad. I would not have done knobs but that is just my style.

It's fine. Just don't yank on them with force for years. Open the door. And place things in and out, rather than banging them on the rail and dragging them in and out of the cabinet.

Beautiful cabinets! The knob placement is just fine and ”pulls” (ha!) traditional which works perfectly with the door style.

There is no ”standard”. And those are fine.

They are a tad low for me, as I generally do this:

but unless you want to refinish? They are where they are: )

Did you specify where to locate the hardware, or ............? did you specify and someone goofed?

Give it time and if it still bothers you, maybe try a handle - remove the knob to test and it may visually offset, drawing the eye up.

Too low for me, but the real question is who approved the decision for placement and who installed them? I have always been asked to review hardware placement by all the contractors I have worked with and they wouldn't dare install without asking the homeowner.
