I think a rug and art would have more impact than colorful chairs.

Is this a condo you own or rent? Are there other things in the space that are changeable?

For instance, I think you could replace your sofa pillows with something more vibrant.

I would do a warm wood and black chair to tie together the table and the floors and furniture. Add your color with art and a rug.

Lower the light and the plates above the cabinet. You want to bring attention to the people space, not the bare ceilings.

You have a lot of nice things but right now they aren't relating to each other. The scale in my mock ups isn't great but hopefully they give you an idea of what I mean.
