Last rebloom scape on Palace Garden Beauty, still has a few buds left.

Mountain Lifestyles in the same bed has had its first good year. Had it 4 or 5 years, last year it finally got a 3rd fan. This year it put up 3 scapes early June, bloomed nicely, then put out 3 more scapes. Looks like it has another fan too. I may decide to keep it after all.

Honky Tonk Barbie has rebloomed and done well this year,after almost dying last year

Mister Mayor has done really worked hard this year

Timeless Treasure rebloomed well, the color is much prettier with cooler temps, but is a bit splotchy for some reason.

My favorite is Mountain Lifestyles. I'm glad it's gain a reprieve for itself this year. Pretty lavender color....I grew Honky Tonk Barbie for many years and it was one of my few reliable rebloomers. It finally succumbed to one of our really cold winters (in a pot outside btw)............Maryl

Nancy - Mountain Lifestyles is a pretty one. I hope it continues to improve for you. Margo Reed Indeed never rebloomed for me, but it didn't get 6 hours of sun a day - especially later in the season. I do think that is Royal Jester in your photo. I grew it for many years, and it usually performed very well. Velvet Throne is a pretty one. It did not perform well here this year but was planted very late. We'll see how it does next year.

I agree-Mountain Lifestyles is pretty. Velvet Throne is a rich color. Margo Reed Indeed was a bust here. Short scapes and few buds every year. In a year of massive blooming this year, not one bloom on it. I have had it for several years and it is in a good location.

That is a lot of rebloom! Mountain Lifestyles is really pretty, my favorite of all of these. Mister Mayor and Velvet Throne also are beauties. I too have Brave World and it is indeed a champ. Ironically, it took about 5 years to get good, and it has been great since.

Mountain Lifestyles has really wowed me this year, the color looks more consistently pretty, as well as it's performance. I really enjoy Honky Tonk Barbie, almost always perfect blooms. Thanks for confirmation on Royal Jester, Debra! I know I got that last fall, can't remember if I got from you or Theresa. Only one scape but what a lot of buds on it. I love these late ones that bloom good. Kate, I am so surprised that Margo does not do so well for you all. I have heard complaints of it being short, mine has always been the registered height of 28", if not more. Not a tall daylily, but acceptable to me. This year it is closer to 40" tall, all the rain I am sure. Bud counts are supposed to be 15 to 20, I had 4 scapes 26 to 29. All looked to meet at least the 15. I moved it a couple yr ago because the clump had gotten big and was pushing into a rock wall. Was getting quite a bit of shade too. I was afraid it would not like it's new spot, but it did well last year too. Brad, I was not impressed with the performance of Brave World the first few years either. I moved it around too much I think. I put it in this spot, it has been there 6 or 7 yr and has been great the last 3 yr. Maybe it just takes a little longer to settle in. Such an unusual color

Nice grouping of blooms. I grew Margo Reed Indeed and it had a lot of buds and scapes in NYS. I think I should go and look for that one if Woodhenge still has it. I also like Honky Tonk Barbie. Why did it almost die for you last year?

Yes, lack of rain is becoming an issue, though that may seem strange after the surplus this year. Daylilies should have at least an inch a week. Now we will be headed into at least two weeks with nothing. The problem with Margo is that she blooms barely above the foliage here. One can do so much better. Get Isabel Rose.

Palace Garden didn't do much this year--one of the few that didn't. It is, though, a nice flower. Thanks for the note sharing.

Honky Tonk Barbie got crown rot and went down to 1 fan, Julia. I have a lot of problems with crown rot. Always happens to at least 1 in late July to August. I seem to do better by not watering when it is dry, but sometimes you just gotta water. Margo has always bloomed well above the foliage. Not a really tall plant, but definitely nicely above the foliage. I do have Julia rose and I love that one too. Definitely Margo is not as tall as Julia, but I like the height. Just a personal preference. I have always loved Westbourne Easter Egg Hunt, but it is just barely out of the foliage. I think I will be ditching that one. And Crazy Ivan. A friend grows Crazy Ivan, and hers is much taller than mine. I like that plant, and it always reblooms taller than the first. The only reason it has lasted as long as it has.

Nice crop of lates and reblooms, Nancy. Mr, Mayor is my favorite but you have a lot of pretty color.
