Help! Modern Floor

I'm remodeling my kitchen and need to decide on floors. the kitchen is very modern and currently has gray concrete. Throughout the home is terrazzo. Can't decide if the kitchen should be one color or a pattern. Welcoming all ideas and suggestions. 🙏🏼

If this was my house, I'd make the kitchen floor as similar to the rest of the house as possible. That will give the home a unified and cohesive look. If you make the kitchen floor too different from the rest of the house, the space will looked chopped up and not flow well.

What is it you are planning to do in that kitchen , it looks great to me . Have you checked out having a colored coat added to the concrete in a color from the terrazzo since probaly not going to be able to get a match for that floor if it is original. You could I guess do marmoleum in one color but first you need to share the plan for the kitchen .Are you planning on covering all the terrazzo by any chance ?

I would do a terrazzo floor in the kitchen, but I wouldn’t strive for complete identity, I would just find an option that would go well together, but with slightly larger inclusions.

I would do a contemporary feeling wide plank wood that is a similar tone to the terrazzo. Were you redoing all floor it would be ideal to have the same flooring in the kitchen, but as that is not the case, go for similar tone and different material.

Terrazzo is super high end, and one of the best options that exist for flooring. Keep the floors consistent.
