Are these guest bedrooms or family members' bedrooms? I'd give the daughter free rein to pick out her own light that fits your budget. Tell her the budget before she starts looking. You can choose the others or use the same one she picks.

you didn't mention the size of the room(s) generally you choose a diameter fixture by adding the length and width of the room... 12 + 12 = 24" diameter light. 10 + 12 = 22" etc.

I would select something simple and white to disappear into the ceiling rather than draw attention to in such a small space. The lamp looks kind of big for the table. You could also add plug in wall sconces. Are all the rooms the same configuration, twin beds with window centered?

Light is off center, so you should google flush mount light which spreads light.

Answering from my phone and page keeps jumping around so sorry for not responding individually, but I think I'm responding to each question and point that was brought up.

Primarily guest rooms, although one of my sons did move in to one. My daughter is studying interior design and has a good eye, but we're trying to get some ideas for us to choose from. We want to have the same in all rooms.

Rooms are 10*13, and the light is centered, but the door was where I was standing is not and the perspective was a little skewed. Two of them are the same layout, the third has the window on the side of the beds. All are full size egress windows.

Not really interested in sconces - if we're going to run new wires we'll just do spots.

The lamp was just a temporary addition. It's leaving soon.

Menards.com has very flush mounted LED lights with several lighting color options. We had to get a very flush one for a kitchen in one of our rentals recently and it worked out great. We also bought a round one for a previous kitchen from there.

Why would you want the same lighting fixture in all rooms when you most likely don't have the same decor?

There's really no "decor" per se. The rooms are pretty much uniform - same flooring and paint, and just high risers and a side table for furniture. We had a hard enough time picking out one thing - the indecisiveness would have killed us had we needed to choose three different looks!
