So is it Madame or Madamoiselle? Carol, it's one of your most gorgeous roses, but not blue at all. Most blue roses just don't even make the bluish cut. Still, I wouldn't mind growing Mrs or Miss Blue. Signed, the annoying old codger. Diane

Diane, it is Madam Blue as far as blue tone? I think not. The closest I have to blue is the occasional sort of blue on Blue For You

Diane - Sweet Madame Blue. :) Yeah, not blue at all, and we've had cooler weather which would usually bring out the "bluer" tones. You're not annoying in any way. :)

For me, my two Love Song roses do have blue tones, but Blue Bayou, long gone, was the closest to a blue rose I've ever grown. And it was not vigorous at all. Diane
