Is this your bathroom in the photos? It would really be helpful if you could post a to scale drawing of what you plan for this renovation.

Where does the tub go? Please post a drawing. Is the the space before gutting or is this all new and you are asking about finishing touches?

It is not the greatest schematic, but here’s a rough idea and certainly it’s not exactly scale. I don’t have a lot of room for my vanity.

Without measurements it’s hard to recommend a vanity.

Color-wise, I would look at “soft black” paints or even dark grays. The flooring is beautiful and a pure black vanity might look harsh. Are you buying a pre-painted one or having one built where you can customize the color?

Customized color- black will look too heavy… you are right!

What about a light wood vanity?

I like them, but very hard to find in ADA. The contractor is making one.

I can’t see the plumbing for the tub, is it supposed to go under the window? The tile is very pretty but putting measurements on your schematic would be helpful:)

The shutters are because my bathroom looks right onto my next-door neighbors front door.

So we are doing one similar to this: as I said not much choice due to need for ADA - at least this one doesn’t show the pipes. The tub will have enough clearance to clean around, and floating vanity allows no storage , so 12 inch wide tower cabinet will be on the immediate left of the vanity- the tub is 58”.

This is also an ADA compliant design.

I’m not trying to be picky, but two things. I’m not sure of the quality of this. It could be particleboard and I’m looking for real wood …, another thing is one of the reasons I don’t like the ADA vanities is I don’t like seeing the pipes. I have looked for a while and I’ve only found two versions. I don’t dislike one is the one I posted and the other one has a slanted board that covers up the pipes.

Thank you for all of your ideas and I agree with a lot of you that say black would be too harsh and too heavy… I have narrowed it down to white, light blue, or perhaps a very light gray looks like my wall color is going to be white if I go with a colored vanity- I am leaving the bedroom the same color that it was, which is also a light gray. I’ll post a picture of that.

If money wasn’t an object, I think I would do it a medium brown color that is the same color as the floor in my bedroom

A cedar wood vanity or matte black with a coordinating round mirror above would look nice!
