Then you don't want a creamy beige because there is yellow in it.

The house looks very dark to me, so I suggest no black on cabinets.

IMO, one of the best color choices to work with all that wood is:

It is an off-white.

Because the cabinets do not go to ceiling, I see the walls and ceiling in eggshell finish and the cabinets either in satin or semi-gloss finish (your choice). Having both one color will improve the look by blending one into the other.

I would still do the same application...wall, ceiling, cabinets one color.

I wouldnt touch the stairway. It blends in nicely with all the rest of the wood including the floors. As much as I like black, I wouldnt use that in your house either. You might want to rethink, things a bit, before you go buy paint, and start doing something that could be a costly mistake. I actually, dont see anything wrong with the paint color you have now. What I would add would be some brighter accent colors here and there, in accessories, so it doesnt look so plain.

The walls now are a gray, that cast as light blue. I detest them. The goal is to warm up the room with earthy tones.

The blue purple in the Tricorn Black will work with the cool gray walls that you have. If you want "warmer" colors, you have to embrace that they are based off of red, yellow, and orange tones, with some yellow greens creeping in there. A warmer black is Black Bean, which matches wonderfully with Canvas Tan or Creamy.

seeing picture 1 vs picture 2 shows why you can't trust color over computer screens! The oak shifts from yellow to red. I ask because that second photo where everything looks red toned, I'm not sure if your flooring and island top really are those colors.

Aside from that, I agree with Minardi on the warmer vs cooler thoughts.
