Sherry: How pretty these blooms are and you have more buds to open.

We are finally getting rain here which started late yesterday with light drizzle but this morning more actual downpours. Hopefully it will last all day as we need the rain.

Beautiful!! I really like that form, and light yellow is a nice color.

It is so nice to have things that bloom so late. My Belle Isle Sentry still has a couple weeks to go, and one seedling will bud soon.

And it’s yellow!! No blooms here and no rebloom either. No rain for weeks and ground is cracking! I’m just glad they are still alive!!

Huge cracks in ground here. For the Aug. 1 to Sept. 21 period, it is the driest on record, with only a little above half an inch of precipitation. Last year, we were saved by Helene remnants, just as Julia is now. But not hopeful for this year. (Not that one would wish the devastation of Helene.)

Pretty blooms! We also have been super dry so there's been no bloom here except a few straggly Autumn Minarets and Blast from the Past.

My area is now in moderate drought……again. Rain is expected here several days next week. I hope the weather forecasters are right this time

. I added a hardy hibiscus this week, anyone growing these?

I tried a hardy Hibiscus once and the rabbits discovered something new to snack on. So I put it in a pot. The thing that finally made me give up on it was when it rained or I watered the area with a sprinkler the blooms looked terrible for a day or two. Big blobs, all sodden and hanging down. Not a fan but many people are and when things go right they can be quite pretty.....I do like your yellow daylily..........Maryl
