FWIW, a number of my fellow employees wear their swipe/ID cards and keys on lanyards. I've tried that before, but the darn things would hit and get caught on stuff when I bent over - or hit me in the face - imagining if it was something much more expensive and chunky 😏

I have several laynard "wallets" because I hate carrying a purse and sometimes I don't have pockets for my id, credit card grocery list and key fob. Mine are not designer gear - one is from Columbia, or Athleta made of ripstop nylon and the other is from Natural Life and kind of boho. I don't carry much on me, have a lot of stuff in my car PRN and that's where I park my cellphone. I hate lugging that thing around and don't use it for much.

Yes! I love the style of those. In fact, I purchased some leather and plan on trying to make one today. I hate carrying a purse and often use a fanny pack but sometimes my fanny pack does not go with my outfit.

Did y’all notice that every model is also carrying a purse?

And Ilikefriday - I think they're very nice looking - they don't look like they hold much more than a lipstick and some folded bills &/or cards, tho. I definitely need more carrying capacity than those itty bitty change purses. I like to use a belt bag too - not @ the waist, crossbody style like this:

My sister has a clear plastic case on a lanyard, for her phone for when she goes to the beach or other potentially wet & dirty places.

I want a big necklace purse, or whatever they are called. My inspiration is the one on the left. I am going to try and make something similar. I want it to be big enough to hold my sunglasses, passport, and credit cards. On the right is a fanny pack I made years ago. I wear it around my waist and around my chest.

I have exclusively only used wallets on a string crossovers or lanyard style cell phone holders for 15 years. I use this daily and never misplace my phone anymore. I slip a credit card and id inside the back cover. Not pretty but very practical for me.

Roarah, I like that one you show! Perfect for the airport (text message that my gate changed AGAIN) or walking. I have a ripstop that I wear crossbody for walking or some travel and marketsm(and can wear it under a top) but yours is perfect for walking and more.

I got it at walmart but etsy has cuter ones.

I think I must have an unusually weak neck. There is some jewelry I shy away from because it is too heavy. One of these necklace pouches would probably topple me right over.

I don't like anything heavy around my neck either. I actually don't think anything heavy around the neck looks particularly fashionable-only trying too hard IMO. Don't even get me started on the belt in the one pic. However, I love (and have the same outfit-how it's a little oversized) her blouse and black pants.

I always have to carry my phone, eyeglasses, sunglasses, wallet, foldable shopping bag, car keys and lipstick and all that won't fit in a small pouch on a string around my neck.

Same, kitchenwitch - I have this crossbody bag in black for my day to day - it holds a surprising amount of stuff

P.S. I have to wonder if those necklaces are purely decorative...?
