I make napkins out of linen or cotton, and they’re all we use. I dry them for a few minutes, then smooth and fold them on top of the dryer. I lay all the folded napkins on the dining room table for a few hours and that’s it!

I can't offer a brand as I have napkins from lots of sources, but like @Sheeshie, I smooth mine out on the counter and let them dry. Generally, they are unwrinkled enough for everyday use. I do iron them if I'm having company. If you buy the vintage Irish linen ones, they are super easy to iron when damp dry.

I've been buying everyday napkins at Target. Threshold brand. They are a cotton/linen blend. I just lay them flat after washing and smooth them with my hands to dry. Every few months, they come out with different colors/patterns. About $10-12 for four.

I have an older set of these from Anthropologie and they are about the easiest to use on a daily basis. They are soft, wash well and a good size.

I have similar preferences and have been lucky lately at Homegoods.

For awhile now, I've been using vintage Scandinavian linen placemats as both mats and napkins. They're a bit smaller than today's placemats, and thicker than cotton napkins. I dry them in the dryer and roll them up immediately, rather than fold, as soon as I take them out.

They've become very soft with age. They would be very easy to make too, since it's 12 inch wide fabric that's hemmed on the ends only.

FWIW, I have a collection of pretty vintage linen napkins garnered from thrift stores and yard sales.

We use these. Soft, no ironing, and bleachable, if you buy white and use bleach.

I have several sets, including C&B, and I don’t find wrinkling a problem (my standards in that department are incredibly low). My problem is staining, and I dont like to have to spot treat or soak all the time.

For pretty designs, World Market is my favorite.

I have a large assortment of 100% cotton napkins. (A few might have some linen blended in). I do as others do...I wash, but put in the dryer in a hot dryer for 5 min or so until they heat up, then I pull them out, one by one, fold in half then smooth and stretch them over a hanger. They come out almost as if ironed.

I have many everyday napkins in cotton and cotton / linen blends from purveyors ranging from Williams Sonoma to Amazon. I pretreat and/or soak, wash, stretch when they come out of the washer, line dry then send them put to be ironed. I do not put mine in the dryer, ever.

Do you wash your napkins after every use? I recall that families who used cloth napkins would reuse them a few times, and everyone had their own napkin ring for their napkin until laundry day. This was my dad’s family, the families I visited abroad, and others. So, what do you do?

I grew up using monogrammed napkin rings and re-using napkins. It wasn’t that my mother was fancy, but rather that she was frugal. She thought paper napkins were wasteful. We used, and re-used, cloth napkins. IIRC, we used them about 2 maybe 3 times before they were replaced with fresh napkins, that is all but Daddy. He was a mess. He got a fresh napkin with every meal!

We use cloth napkins daily…I have several we mix and match…all from Amazon..cotton easy care..Washer, Dryer and fold! you could iron them if having guests but I dont they look just fine for us….URBAN VILLA, ENCASA XO AND NATIVE FAB all on amazon going on 4 years now….

If anyone uses placemats every day…I just purchased this new design…they are acrylic and you slide in a different pattern, different colors..so fun..come in square and round. just wipe clean! I picked 3 different designs…and change them up with my napkins🤗

@Home Interiors With Ease Yes, the are wash, dry and fold - super easy and a generous size. We reach for them daily. I really like this new set better than my old one (7-8 years ago) but mine are still in good shape. I am going to check out those Amz napkins you shared.

Rubyclaire..the anthropologie napkins only have the yellow color left so had to pass on them☹️have to say about the amazon napkins….you can’t beat the price!
