Need help decorating wall shelves and cubeical

I need advice on what to put on the 2 black shelves hanging on each side of the picture (this wall is in my kitchen across from the kitchen table). I'm also not sure of what to put inside the 9-cube cubeical underneath. The wall color is more of a caramel brown hue (it looks more orange in the pic because of poor lighting). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have any white tea pots and cups? A white platter???

Do you have cookbooks that would fit in the cubes? Some other pottery accents in the blues and yellows and whites from the art?

I do have a small white appetizer set. Not sure if it will work? I attached a pic of it! I did try to put a cookbook in the cube facing forward on a cookbook easel but it wouldn't fit. Maybe I could put multiple ones in there like a bookshelf??

Oh and I have a set of 3 lime green mixing bowls that might look good!

Yes, put the cookbooks in there like a bookshelf. Adding kitchen things will make it belong together in that room. Can the three white plates fit on one shelf, standing up and put the long skinny one on top of the cubicle???

You are too sweet! Maybe put the plates on the other shelf as from the pic, they are too similar to the light switches there. Put them closer together. Do you have a tall white vase??? NOTHING in it, but there anyway.

Put the larger green bowl on the top with the white plate. And maybe put the other two inside each other in the middle one. I know that leaves more open spaces, and the bowls might look different once more gets in there, too. Hmmm........what else do you have???

OR....was just looking and thinking some more.......lay that cookbook down on that shelf and place the smaller bowl on top of it.

I also forgot I have these white kitchen canisters I may be able to incorporate...

I just went and looked at your kitchen and saw the canisters on the counter and was going to have you get those.......and then I saw you found these. Now we are getting somewhere. Will one of them fit in the cube that has the outlet behind it......gotta hide that. Try to put cookbooks in the very middle one and then a green bowl on the last one in that middle row. Leave two of them on the top, at the side right by each other and then have the white plate in the other area. Find some fake lemons to put on that dish maybe.

I love the white with the white in the art work!!!

I don't have a white vase, but that is on my list to get :) Here's what it looks like with the changes!

Oh I love those suggestions! I will keep moving things around! Thank you!!

Did you mean put two of the green bowls on the top right by each other or 2 of the white canisters? The outlet is behind the last cube in the middle row and either the bowl or canister will work to hide it. So whichever you think

Two white canisters together on the top and the big one in front of the outlet. Try just the two canisters and the white dish on the top with no green right now. BUT try the cookbook flat with a bowl on top for me, too. Soooooooo
TOP: two white canisters and white plate, in that order, from left to right
Top row: cookbook flat and green bowl on top
Middle row: Two green bowls stacked........more cookbooks.......big white canister
    Bottom row......We shall see....

Okay I thought so, but just wanted to double check! Thank you for the detailed description :)

Try the bowl and book in the middle one....just slide it over one cube. Move the two green bowls to the bottom middle one.

Maybe you could even find some little votive candles to put on that white tray/dish on the very top. Scout around in second hand stores for some fun cook books that you might really use, too, and only pay a quarter or two for each one. You might have some seasonal things, too, like a big ol' pumpkin to put on a shelf or on a few cook books, too. Or a scarecrow to prop in a cube for now. A tall and skinny white vase.....again I am thinking second hand stores as they usually have sooooo many vases.....and that will add some height on the shelves and they will also be skinny enough to fit there. Coffee cups that are colored would also work here.

Sorry to redirect the discussion, but since you ladies seem to like the same colors I do, would you mind taking a peek at my kitchen cabinet colors question and giving me some assistance.
    Thanks!
