Halloween pumpkin contest

There was a pumpkin decorating contest at my job so I decided to enter. I had fun doing it and don't care that it didn't win a prize (the one that one "most creative" was a charming hobbit house.)

By the way, these are super easy to do. Just paint the pumpkins a cream colored base and then paint the different glazes. The sprinkles stick to wet paint. (Full disclosure, I've entered this design once three years ago but it was a different department and venue. My friends encouraged me to do it again.)

I like them! Easy to do and very creative.

Our gym had a pumpkin contest. I did not enter. But I loved the winner:

The tray of 'tennis balls' was also cute, but I don't think they won a prize.

Yes I've seen those here but could be more than a year ago. Here are some my mom sent from her apartments celebration.

Okay, not decorating, but my pumpkin project this year was a sausage risotto cooked in a pumpkin for our neighborhood Halloween party. (I waited too late to buy a pumpkin so the only one the right size was in the grocery store’s floral department adorned with those silly bows)
