Tall Ceilings & Warmth

I have been trying to make my living room warm and welcoming and haven’t brought it together.

Should I put art above the TV, above French doors or above window.
The window doesn’t have room on the right side for curtains. Before we had the room painted and other work done, I had a valence and a panel on the left. It was pretty in its day but now it would he heavy. Any suggestions?
