but I would add a medicine cabinet where you have the magnifing mirror now, so you have more storage.

are you interested in anything else for this bathroom? I see a lot of possibilities. (first would be the paint color. that particular shade isn't the best, especially if you have yellowish light bulbs.) get some LED bulbs in the 3500K range (neutral white) to make shaving easier.

Instead of mounting the mirror, why not get a countertop mirror that could be kept on a shelf above the toilet.

(In fact, think about putting in a shelf OR getting a toiletry cabinet to place above the toilet for more storage)

Well I guess hubby needs to get on here and tell us what he NEEDS for shaving. IMO 4000K lighting is must in bathrooms and kitchens so start there .

Really appreciate advice! Hubby likes current magnifying mirror placement. However as you see it interfering with visual space as vanity only 37",. I am considering mirror cabinet with lights and magnifying mirror inside as it has USB port to hide some cords however he does not like that it is not movable up and down. Would it look weird if I build recessed niche where current magnifying mirror is so it is no longer sticking out? That wall feels hollow under so I think I can. I will be tiling that wall.

I definitely will need to add several sources of lighting so splurge will go towards electrical work, including heated floor and heated towel rack. Toto toilet will need new outlet as well.

I have leftover Chloe White tile and am planning to use it stacked on the wall of large mirror and emcer vertigo tile linear for the shower , it is 10x30 and planning on vertical stacking as well. Floor probably should be simple as all tile will give enough patterns.

Current vanity is 37" and I should use same size and same right sized drawers unless I want to move plumbing in the back. I am on relatively limited budget so something to splurge and something to save.

I really like IKEA ceramic vanity top so will need to find modern vanity to fit.

Ain’t no way, no day, I’m standing naked in a yellow room with no natural light, thinking I look cute.

Will agree with others that the wall color perhaps isn't the best for your bathroom. Would suggest a color other than the yellow you currently have.
