It looks like West Elm has some called "bath runners".

Rugs USA has a large selection of washable runners which should work fine in a bathroom, but I don't know if they are plush enough for your needs.

I think that is probably similar to a Ruggable, which I have found disappointing for this use. Id like something plush

I do really like this one Prickly linked, and it is somewhat plush. But it does not relate to anything in my home so not sure.

My favorite was Wamsutta, which is not available anymore. I bought at the original Bed Bath & Beyond. If y’all find anything close, I am following.

ETA: Rugable is NOT it and I have bought two bath mats since one from big A and one from HD . The first lasted 6 months and the HD is still here, but it is not what I want. Wrong backing and wrong pile. The color os okay.

It’s not as plush as a bath mat, but I don’t think most of my bath mats are all that plush. I know they exist but it’s not what I tend to buy. Also, I don’t use it as a bath mat per se. It’s in front of the sink.

I was going to suggest checking out estate sales, after the New Year because most slow down for the holidays. Oriental/Persian type rugs can look beautiful in a bathroom. But, not so washable in the machine. Take it out to the driveway with a hose and a broom and soapy water, and lots of water. If you got it cheap enough, you won’t worry much.

Annie Selke has some that meet 2 of your requirements - they are plush (0.85” high) and washable. I only saw solids, which were nice but not interesting.

There was a young decorator using "Loloi" rugs in his remodel video. I tried one in my mud room bath, the exact one he used in his remodel. It was nubby, off white...tribal. It washes well...and looks awesome. They have soft/plush ones...but honestly....I like the ONE YOU found better. It's got a soft nap....nicer than the nubby one I have...

No matter what washing machine I've used - cheap or nice - I always feel like good size plush rugs are going to burn it out. The banging, the balance issues, etc.
I now try to purchase smaller, nice ones but even those are hard to find. Am I just being too cautious?

@deegw...My Samsung washer-dryer set is HUGE, not a standard home owner size. (I think they were discontinued years ago. Too big!) I'd use a commercial washing machine @ a laundrymat before I'd use a home owners version....just saying....

I had one of this company's rugs and LOVED it...not sure what style you're looking for but...(and they come in a very large size, as well.

another, same brand - you can't really tell how plush they are in the photos, but they are very luxurious.

That's it! That's the brand I am thinking of. I went on this quest before, found one I loved, and decided it was too much money. This time I could not recall the brand. But it is Habidecor.

Alas, I know now why I did not buy it. In the extra long size I want it is $670, yikes. Also i don't see many color/pattern options. I think I will order the House of Noa one which now seems dirt cheap at $179 ... so there's that.

It took me a lot of searching to find the brand, too, because I couldn't recall the name. There are some great designs...even for the $$, I think you would LOVE one. The one I had finally started unraveling after many years and I had to keep clipping strings. They didn't have a replacement that I loved, so I didn't get another. But now that I'm seeing them again, I might find another.

So are y'all (besides Nicole) putting these rugs in regular washing machines? Or dropping them off? There is no way I am standing around the laundry mat!

The last time I went to a laundromat, it was to wash a big old cotton Dash and Albert rug, like 11x14. I put it in the machine, and left. I came back 20 minutes later and it was done. I air dried it over the verandah balcony. Done.

I don't have any washable rugs that are as thick and large as what I am contemplating, but that is my only relevant experience.

Well, thanks to this thread I found a rug I love to replace my worn out Abyss Habidecor. I hadn't searched for several years because it seemed they weren't making any that appeal to me. But this!

well, at least you won't have to yell at people to take their shoes off to protect your rug!

It is here, and I am here, so I put it down in the bathroom. I really like it. It is soooooo soft and plush.

This Ruggable had been in the bath but it is, of course, not at all plush. Moved it to the hall, where I have looked before for something but not liked anything I tried. If I am going to not like something, it may as well be something I already own.

Thx, I do not care for this BA at all, but I will say for an urban historic building, it is generous and brand new. So I cannot complain too much.
