Cordless Stick Vacs??

I use stick vacs due to being older (81) & having arthritis. Had a couple of Dyson which I liked, but the batteries were $$ to replace. Our latest, fairly new one is a Shark & it loses power almost immediately. I've tried to troubleshoot to no avail. Do you have one that you recommend? TIA

I had a Dyson for years. Maybe 10? It just stopped holding a charge. I bought a new one this week. I ordered a no name replacement battery for the old stick vac for $45. It should be here today. if it works, I’ll give it to one of my boys. (Both in college.)

I had a Dirt Devil cordless, gave it away. I like my Dyson V8. It holds a charge for about 20 minutes.

Dyson - deeply discounted right now. Mine runs about 40 minutes on a charge. I have several of them and I’ve only replaced one battery. I got a non-Dyson brand. There was a problem with some off brand catching fire so you have to be careful with that..

I really like my V12 detect. I got it at a deep discount this time of year a few years ago. The sale price now is good.
I can do all my wood floors and area rugs in one charge, carpet sucks the battery more. Detect means that it has a light, which I really like. I am apparently sloppy at vacuuming and it helps me see what I might miss.
