That's pretty dramatically flat cut rustic domestic oak. I can't think of an engineered wood floor that would complement it. Match it or remove it for what's current. Light European Oak.

Have yours refinished and match the best you can with more of the same hardwood.

Could you just put in a different tile in those areas? Tile is a great choice in wet areas like bath and laundry rooms and if the hallway connects those rooms might be good there too.
