The Right Beefsteak Tomato

last month

Yeah. I know this is probably too much to ask …. the right tomato.

I hope everyone is doing well. It’s been a long time.

I’m gearing up for next year’s garden, like who isn’t ..

I am not a raw tomato connoisseur and my son is not either but he’s the one that loves tomatoes

And I’m the one who will find out his preferred tastes.

I want an heirloom beefsteak tomato for his Blt and slicers that has some old time taste but doesn’t require anxiety to grow. I have grown Brandywine tomatoes successfully, but i”ll never do it again as it is so delicate in nature and requires too much care.

Tomatoes do well in my soil, so I’m desiring something that isn’t TOO difficult to maintain above ground. To date, I havent grown every year so I don’t really need any disease resistance at this time.

Traditional Tomato Flavor

Crack resistent is a plus

Not too hard to grow.

What is your favorite beefsteak that meets this criteria?
