bumping .. anyone?

I bought a no name brand off AMZN to wear to my DS’s lacrosse games. It‘s a puffer style vest. Very warm for those February games. I have heated gloves too. I may be a wimp!!

I recently bought a Milwaukee jacket which came with an M12 3.0 lithium battery, but can use a smaller size - I think an M12 2.0. My daughter has had one for a few years and loves hers. which is especially appreciated in below freezing temps plowing her long driveway in her open tractor. For now we've been both wearing them without the batteries but will be getting them charged up soon, I'm sure, unfortunately!

I have the Ororo heated vest and heated mittens. I got them for nights at Longwood when I spend hours outside. Both work well. As far as the mittens go (and sort of the vest too,) it's not that you feel toasty warm, you just dont feel cold.

I just reread your post, Funky, and realize you are looking for heated apparel for indoor use which our jackets, being thicker and stiffer, would not be suitable. I hope you find something that works for your mom.

well actually both indoor and outdoor .. i dont really know if she will use it indoors but I was thinking about getting fleece which would be more flexible.

@jakabedy same! I'd heard of heated ski boots, but that was it.

I have narrowed down to 2 different Ororo jackets that both have neck heating zones .. a fleece jacket and a regular jacket that has a hood (which she loves due to wind on their back patio). I am liking the one below best as it has more zones .. but the fleece is a little more flexible for indoor/outdoor. Thanks all for your input!

I know two people who have the ARRIS vest from Big A and love them. One wears it around the house in the winter. It's a good deal right now.

My other friend wears the vest under her jacket while she's skiing.

I like thos, Dee .. but I am concerned about the size adjustable feature. It would be great for ME but my mom is so tiny (under 5' and very skinny) I don't think it is a feature that would benefit her and it may have way too much fabric. I really like the sporty look too.

Funky, I forgot I have one upstairs for my daughter for Christmas! I just went up and measured it. Without an inset it's very small. 17 " from armpit to armpit.

I do like the idea of a vest for layering.. but also know she likes a hood.

I ordered the same one you have, Dee ... if it looks too big or too long, I will keep it for me :) The adjustability is kind of game changing.

Some of the Pilates instructors use heated vests because it tends to be cool in the studio. Since we’ve got a cold snap coming up, I’m seriously considering one, so this is helpful. I did get an extra pair of fleece lined leggings from CVG, but I think I need to include a vest. I wear fleece vests pretty much all the time. My “work uniform” consists of my Eddie Bauer pants, 1/4 zip top, and fleece vest LOL.
