I am struggling to find a low profile queen size bed that will fit this space. In the image shown, I have measured the smallest possible option that I can find, but the bed is on backorder and will not be available until late February, which I do not want to wait for. I am also concerned about the window being off centered, and if we were to have a headboard, if that would compete with it visually. I am now considering the option of going no headboard, but this is not something I have ever done and I am not sure how it would end up looking. If I did go no headboard, perhaps I could support it with a lumbar pillow or a couple of euro pillows instead of a headboard? This is for a guest room. We already bought the queen mattress and are desperate to get a bed in as soon as possible.
