Jack and Jill in three spaces. Sink vanities on the two outside spaces, shared shower/toilet in the center. Had this set up in a home years ago and have remembered it ever since for a dream home.

It's a tricky one - as in some instances I'd say go for all en suites - would it be advisable to chat to your local property estate agent ( that's a UK term - realtor is it, in USA ?!? ) to see what is more popular with people looking to buy properties in your price bracket / area/ etc etc ?!? Maybe only consider a change or upgrade if what's there at the moment looks like it needs changing ?!? Spend your money on your new home instead !?!? Either way , good luck with your move !! Two separate ones. Kids are going to get older and need their own space and privacy. It will be a lifesaver. For resale purposes I think it would be good as it would just be a nice bonus to a potential future buyer.

We are avoiding Jack and Jill baths and giving each bedroom it's own bath in our custom homes. It's seems to be more desirable right now and makes sense in the future if you have older children or even adult parents living there someday.
If you have the option then it is a good idea.

Separate bathrooms seems more flexible for resell. (Fine print....I hate Jack and Jills bathrooms!) Edited to add: But if you already have the Jack and Jill bath, I would definitely consult with a very good realtor before making that expensive investment to change it.

Thanks, everyone! I think we are going to go with two separate baths. They'll be small, but still very nice. I like the thought that the kids are going to get older, possibly coming home with spouses, and the added privacy will be a lifesaver. Again, thanks!!
