Hard to say without seeing the rest of the room. From what you are showing us my thought is to add one piece of large art - hung no higher than the curve of cabinet top & anchor it with a console cabinet that somehow relates to the hutch wood & color wise.

I like KW PNW Z8 's suggestion. Another one would be to push the table up to the window and move the dog area to the other side of the french doors. It's almost like dividing up the room. You can move the table out when you have more than 4 people eating.
