Our intros for 2026

last month

We managed to have 6 intros for 2026 even though we got little done in the garden this last season.

Hares in Paradise was named for our daughter and her husband, whose last name is Hare. This commemorates their honeymoon in the Bahamas. Our daughter requested a 'tropical' colored one and I think this fits. It is New Tangerine Twist X (Southern Summer X Born to Run) X Gypsy Rose)). It is 31 inches with 3 way branching and 15 buds. It is a dormant midseason bloomer with a 6 inch flower.

Shards of Narsil is a late bloomer with 30 inch scapes, 3 way branching and 15 buds. It has a 5 inch flower and is dormant. It is Chomp X Ruffled Strawberry Parfait.

White Lace and Promises is Remembered Kisses X Empire of Dawn and Dusk. It has 31 inch scapes with 3 way branching and 15 buds and a 5.5 inch flower. It is dormant.

Chelle Belle is named for our daughter. This was one of her nicknames when she was young. Her name is actually Michelle. It has a 36 inch scape with 3 branches and 14 buds. It has a inch flower and is a mid-late dormant. Its parentage is So Beautiful to Me X Sonoran Desert Rose.

All About Color is Sea of Cinders X Tet. Spindazzle. Bob likes this one because of its bright color. It has 36 inch scapes with 3 branches and 15 buds. It is an early mid bloomer with 6.5 inch flowers. It is semi-evergreen.

Brienne of Tarth is 45 inches tall with 4 branches and 16 buds. It has 6 inch flowers and is a mid-late dormant. Its parentage is Fox Point X Horns.
