Mirriam Webster has a video that displays random words flashing on the screen. They say to take a screen shot and that's your word for the year.

As a gardener I did not like this at all. But then I realized that it's a natural and necessary process. All of our beds are doing it right now and it leads to the burst of growth in spring. So I'm good with it and I think it bodes well for the year.
