bathroom remodel

We will be remodeling our master bath within the year. The floor dimensions 14feet x 14 feet. I am thinking of doing a checkerboard porcelain tile. I found tile I loved from Edward Martin. It comes in 12 inch tile and 24 inch tile. I kind of love the idea of larger tile format. Am I way off base?
