Yes, you could go with a wood laminate, but I like the floor you have now. It looks easy to care for, is it concrete? I can't tell from the picture. Or is it tile?

I like it! It's clean, fresh and it's giving a great open feeling. If it were me I would keep it, but if you want laminate that would work too. Did you find a picture on Houzz you could use as your model?

Good thing is there are barely any cabinets and storage spaces, so it depends on the style you are after.

I havent found yet...i love a dark cabinet but i afraid my room will also dark..this kitchen area is open to my dining room. Dining room had been wallcovered with brown tones...any idea?

I don't think a dark cabinet is your best choice, but if you really want it keep all other items light - paint color, floor, countertops. The cabinet color I think is called espresso and it is beautiful. Look at all the light in your picture - large window for natural light, recessed lights in the ceiling plus pendant lights. Unfortunately, you don't have any of that right now. Can a window be added? Are any of the kitchen walls outside walls?

If you really LOVE that color, you could make it work but it will require a LOT of lighting to keep it from feeling cave-like. Will you be getting stainless appliances?

Yes thats what i am thinking of.it is impossible to make a window because the room behind the kichen wall is my neigbours room :'(....ok then what about other light colors but still match with my dining room color..i dont want white because this home is empty, i come here twice a month only, and you know tropical country, dusty everywhere...cabinet will soon dingy and dusty...white doesnt work at all
