I use drmtlgy eye corrector. It somewhat works. As morz8 stated for her brand, doesn't eliminate but improves. I then ordered another suggested product, but it is too thick, so just stayed with drmtlgy.

ETA: I like a more natural look. Do not like caked on makeup.

Im glad you asked this because I bought some recently and Im not happy with it. I went to the makeup counter at Notdstrom and they recommended Westman Atelier skin concealor. She applied for me there but since I have it at home, I find that its too heavy for undereye.

I have some bad spots on my skin and it does cover them well but drags down the undereye area.

I havent tried it but Nars gets good reviews. I am interested to read what others recommend here. My eyes arent so baggy, thanks to blepharoplasty years ago, but they are red underneath.

I started using a cheapie by elf very sparingly. Touch the applicator lightly to a fingertip and distribute from there.

I have the dark under eye circles. I watched a few videos on how to cover up black tattoos. They put red on them...like blush...then a heavy concealer on top. It does a better-than-average job of concealing. I use Dermacol 210 as my concealer. It does nothing for puffiness.

Have you considered lower blephroplasty? It’ll get rid of the puffiness permanently.

I also use the Drmtlgy eye illuminator (I think that’s what it's called). I have tried at least 20 concealers and as others have noted, while this one doesn’t eliminate anything it does help. It helps more if I use Philosophy’s eye miracle (or something like that) under my eyes about ten minutes before anything else goes on. I use the under eye miracle stuff, then my regular daytime moisturizer. When those are dry I use Drmtlgy’s tinted moisturizer with spf 46 on my face including under the eyes, and when that dries go back in with the illuminator. Sounds like a lot of waiting but I brush teeth and gargle in between.

23 years ago I had the bags removed under my eyes. There's no concealer/corrector in the world that will disguise them. I speak from experience.

Now that I'm an octogenarian I have unattractive redness in my upper lids and under my eyes, however, both are correctable to a degree.

On my upper lids I use NARS concealer, skin-toned. It's smooth and also acts as a primer for eyeshadow. But under my eyes it just looks cakey and gets in the creases.

I really like Drmtlgy Luminous Eye Corrector under my eyes. It doesn't seem to cover at all, but changes my skin tone to minimize the red. It has a funny applicator which I ignore. I just get a teensy bit and always apply with a makeup brush. It lasts forever.

I ordered the drmtlgy product. Wasn't sure of the color, I chose the medium. I've been thinking of seeing a derm for a consult on next steps. I'm not sure I'm ready for that. At this point, I'd like to conceal as much as possible.

I switched my makeup (not skincare) to Westman Atelier last year and i really like it. I use the concealer under my eyes and on rosacea flair-ups and the Vital Skincare Complexion Drops all over. The key is to use a very small amount and blend it well.

My friend that is close to 70 y/o loves the Almay stick concealer. The one that looks like a lipstick tube. She has very dark circles and really does not wear any other makeup at all, just the concealer to cover the black circles.

I don't really have dark circles but when I do wear concealer, I use the Maybelline Fit Me, very sparingly. It could be that some of you are using too much. A lot of concealers take only just a small dab. You may even need to prep the under eye area with a moisturizer to make it spread easily. I also set mine with powder lightly.

My circles are not very dark, but my paternal grandmother had dark circles and I think that weighs on my mind. I did not inherit her tall thin body or narrow feet, but....

On another thread awhile back, several mentioned Timeless skin care. I ordered several products and have been happy with them. So, thank you.

For months now, I have been two products by Elemis Pro-Collagen line (marine cream, and night cream) and I am VERY happy with them. A pea size amount goes a long way (face, neck and decollete) and while I do not have dry skin, I can tell my skin is staying hydrated so much longer. I had ordered their body cream that someone uses on their face, but it has a too-strong-for-me scent. Don't laugh, but QVC had the best price for the day/night last year, then again last week. But you have to be careful compairing prices, because these products come in various sizes. I sent a packages back a few weeks ago when I received and the jars were almost half the size.

I still use Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer (2 different tubes). i apply the corrector, which is supposed to tone down the red, and then the concealer, both with a brush after dotting it on lightly. Now and then I apply the tiniest bit of additional a rich eye cream in with the concealer. Some days my undereye area just seems more dry. I guess I should expect that at my age. I don’t wear makeup every day but usually do wear a smidge of concealer and mascara.

I did have the laser treatment many years ago for dark circles when I had a bleph procedure. Thankful it has lasted a long time. I still have some slight darkness near the corners but it’s nothing like it was before the treatment.

It jas a slight plumping effect and also smooths the skin so that concealer or luminous whatever goes on easily. The container is about 3” tall.

no help here. it takes me forever to pick a new foundation much less a concealer. I just recently bought a new concealer. I was using a concealer by Lancome in a tube that I liked but of course they dont make it anymore. I finally landed on a concealer by ITS cosmetics. I think it might be their original concealer in the tube. It's VERY VERY thick and a little goes a looonnngg way. and I mean a lonnnggg way!! LOL I'm still playing around with it to figure out the best application. I've also been in search for a color corrector for the dark marks under my eyes. Looking for an peachy concealer. I've been using one by ELF in a little pot but it's a little sparkly.

@Bunny, I guess we are the same age (can you believe it?). Is this the product?

Could I use it without shadow?

I don't wear a foundation just because it seems to make wrinkles more obvious. I have found something that works well for me. First, apply a toner, (witch hazel is fine). Then apply a light moisturizer and let it sit for a few minutes. Using a soft brush, go over your face with Cover Girl Simply Ageless wrinkle blurring powder. I use it under my eyes as well. Not a miracle, but the best I have tried. To lessen the powder look, wet a facecloth with cool water, squeeze , and press against your face.

My longest and dearest friend (this year marks 70 years of friendship) is a fantastic tennis player. The younger girls at the club keep asking her how old she is. Her response? "Age is a number, and mine is unlisted".

@User, yes that's the product. I get it at Ulta. I think it works pretty well on my eyelids. I used to wear shadow every day, but now maybe just once or twice a week when I want to look my best. Hah! The rest of the time I just use this on my lids with a little charcoal pencil eyeliner. I use Latisse on my lashes so I can get away with not wearing mascara everyday.

I never heard about Latisse. I need something for my eyebrows. Talk about here today, gone tomorrow. Thanks for all the info.

Latisse works. My eyelashes are longer, thicker, darker.

Do you need a prescription for Latisse? I feel like you used to maybe.

I use an Aldi concealer that is a dupe for Tarte. It is thick and took me awhile to figure it out and get used to it. But it does conceal!
