You will get much better advice from the pros here if you provide a floor plan, with all measurements noted in imperial (not metric, or at least in addition to metric) units.

Also, try to get a picture showing each of the walls, including the wall that has the door.

Put the cedar chest under the TV.

I assume that the wall you haven't shown has the closet and the door to the room, so you can't put furniture there. If that is correct, I don't see another good arrangement for the furniture that's better than what you have.

If the wall you didn’t show includes the closet and bedroom door, it limits where furniture can go, so placing larger pieces there wouldn’t be practical. In that case, your current layout already makes good use of the available space. I don’t really see an alternative arrangement that would improve functionality without blocking access or making the room feel cramped.

A to scale floor plan always is a good start and pices of all 4 walls. The plan posted here in jpeg format showing windows , doorways where those lead and every measurement clearly marked . Off the top of my head cedar chest under TV for sure

@Amy Hartjes do you have any comments on the suggestions that have been offered?Was I correct about the location of the door and closet?

Based on your pictures this is what we see in your room.

Where is the entrance door?

Is there a closet?

Are there other windows?

What size is your bed? double or queen?

We really need more detailed information for a furniture layout and more precise suggestions in general.
