Vynil planks are one and done type floors. Live with it a little while longer, then replace the entire thing.

Sorry....yes, I agree with the others - just live with it until a total do over. And, good news is that you can do a more natural looking wood floor when you do. Again, sorry probably not what you want to hear.

Look in your closets to see if you can remove some planks from there to wherever the patches are needed. THen put some gray planks in the closets. If the planks can't be removed, you can either wait to replace the whole floor or just use plain gray planks as you originally planned.

Good chance the locking system for the new would never be the same besides. They call this planned obsolesence. Plaan to replace it all.

Sometimes you can pull from another room where it is less important to match. Someone mentioned closets, but a laundry room or bathroom or an office may be able to be changed without changing everything else if the rest is in good shape. Lots of people have carpeting in a bedroom or tile in the kitchen or bath. It is nice when the whole house has one flooring, but it can be just as nice to have a bit of variety.
